Green Building Ordinance
Upcoming meetings
There was considerable discussion about the proposed "Green Building" ordinance at our January 9th meeting.
Concerened was expressed regarding the proposal to allow greater density on the property if the builder agrees to build "Green".
Many of us feel this will cause even greater infrastructure problems than already exists in many neighborhoods.
Councilwoman Linda Saul-Sena will host a meeting on January 16 from noon untill 2:00 to discuss the proposed ordinance. All THAN members who have concerns should attend. Members of your Zoning Committee are planning to attend.
In addition, a workshop will be held at City Council on Thursday January 24th at 10:00 AM. It is unclear if we will be given the opportunity to speak at the workshop.
